The Hon. Chief Justice of the Republic of Sierra Leone, Hon. Justice Desmond-Babatunde Edwards during event marking the opening of the September- November Criminal Session 2019, awarded six judicial workers for their outstanding performance, commitment and dedication to the their work.

The awardees were Victor William Horton, who had worked in the Judiciary for 45 years, Madam Betty Cole 35, SylvanusAdekunle Wilson 35, Abdul FattaDeenGabisi 35, Madam SerayBallayTarawallie 35 and Mrs. Gladys Seasy 25.

The awardees were presented with a Cheque of 2.5 million each.

Research revealed that, this is the first time in the history of the Judiciary of Sierra Leone that the leadership recognized  long and dedicated serving staff. Thanks to CJ Edwards!
