Vice President, Dr. Juldeh Jalloh continuous engagement with his people in the North and Portloko in particular continues to give more credence to the Sierra Leone Peoples Party (SLPP) ahead of the 2023 elections.

Vice President engagements with the northern region has started given acceptance to the Sierra Leone Peoples Party as the party continued to made inroads to the detriments of the All Peoples Congress Party.

The just ended local bye-election in Kaffu Bullom is a manifestation that Juldeh Jalloh is given the All Peoples Congress Party a run for their money in Portloko District, owing to the fact that the APC are divided in the district.

Though supporters and sympathizers of the All Peoples Congress Party are arguing that Ward 242 Kaffu is a swing chiefdom between the SLPP and the APC, the facts remains Juldeh Jalloh is a force to reckon with in Portloko District.

His humane gestures by giving thousands of scholarships to school going children is a clear testament that parents are wholeheartedly in supports of the ruling government with the timely intervention of the Mr. Juldeh Jalloh.

The philanthropist gestures of Juldeh Jalloh to the people of Portloko is incredible so much so that residents of Portloko have assured the Vice President that as long as he fulfilled his promises to the them they will continued to vote the Sierra Leone Peoples Party overwhelmingly.

Under the leadership of Ernest Bai Koroma, the All Peoples Congress Party lost in Kaffu Bullom to the Sierra Leone Peoples Party in the 2008 Local Government Elections.

SLPP became very strong in Kaffu Bullom during late President Kabbah, even the famous 4/4 mantra was not able to captured Kaffu Bullom to the APC.

The presence of Juldeh Jalloh as Vice President to Julius Maada Bio is a blessing in disguise for the Sierra Leone Peoples Party.

The assumption that the APC has a stranglehold on voters in the north especially Portloko is gradually being eroded and making way for a new trend of an embrace of the SLPP government’s policies.

The Tonko Limba in Kambia district, Koya and the SLPP strolled in which was boycotted by the All Peoples Congress Party on issues bordering the NEC commissioner.

In less than 14months the Sierra Leone Peoples Party has won 3 out of the 4 bye-elections conducted by the National Electoral Commission.

Supporters and sympathizers of the All Peoples Congress Party in Portloko are urging stakeholders to put their differences aside ahead of 2023 general elections.

The All Peoples Congress Party should be watchful of Dr. Juldeh Jalloh as the latter is gaining popularity on a daily basis in Portloko District and the Northern Region as a whole.

The penchant and affection the latter is showing to the northern region during the past years will add more votes for the SLPP in future elections to come.

The APC should put their self-centered and eccentric approached behind them if they want to clinch to the seat of power comes 2023, because Juldeh Jalloh is ready to give them run for their money.
