Head Teacher Arrested with FQE Books

A head teacher has been arrested along with Free Quality Education materials according to the Sierra Leone Police North East Spokesman.

He was arrested at the Panlap police checkpoint, along the Kabala Makeni highway, some kilometres away from Makeni.

The regional police spokesman in the North made the information known to the public through one of his social media accounts.

Based on the vigilance of the security force the teacher was trapped by the Police Officers on the 19th November.

Mr. Abdulai Kamara, who identified himself to the police as the head teacher of Sierra Leone Muslim Women’s benevolent primary School Royeama, was arrested with large quantity of free quality education.

Among the items arrested are Text books, a bag of rice meant for school feeding, cooking condiments and face masks, suspected to be stolen or unlawfully obtained.

The said head teacher, the police say is presently helping the police with investigation at Panlap police station.

Meanwhile, the said items arrested are in custody of the police.
