The annually repairs on Sahn Malen – Koribondo Highway transversing through Jimmi Bargbo and Tinkoko Chiefdoms and from Sahn to Benga Junction in the Panga Chiefdom is now fully underway by Socfin Agricultural Company.
And as per the operations heavy duty caterpillars, excavators backed by various machines can be spotted in blown operations now that the rainy season has given way to the harmattan ahead of the upcoming drying season.
As usual motorists, residents and local Chiefs along the highway have heaped praise adjectives on the Agricultural Company for taken the lead and bold step for the past five years to repair the highways alongside the train tracks and other feeder roads linking communities in and outside Malen and into the agricultural plantation.
It must be stated that Socfin Shareholders, Mr Gerben Haringsma and Mr Michaels Johan and the General Manager Mr Philip Tonks have time without number reassures all and the Government of HE President Julius Maada Bio of the company’s ever growing commitments to its Corporate Social Responsibilities and above continue to live in total peace and harmony with the precious land owning families and rest of the community people who have remained development oriented.
As part of Socfin’s CRS and additional Social functions the company has for four years running made road constructions and repairs a major priority as good road networks remains critical and key to community and national development in general.
